Tools for Medical Product Design Overview
Advanced VLSI Engineering, Inc. will explain how
to incorporate electronic simulation into the
integrated circuit design process. The
presentation will include an example of the
design process, without using SPICE, as well as
with the use of SPICE to catch errors in design.
Ozen Engineering, Inc. will demonstrate how
Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and Computational
Fluid Dynamics (CFD) simulations, help
engineers in the product design cycle. The
presentation will also review cost saving benefits,
time to market acceleration and the resulting
accuracy improvements associated with the use
of FEA and CFD techniques in engineering
development.
SMP Tech, Inc. will show several case histories to
illustrate the design process, cost-effectiveness,
and technical benefits of software analysis tools.
Presentation will include tips on how to model
parts for FEA and CFD simulations.
After the presentations and a complimentary lunch
will be served to all attendees.
